Paint Night is a first of its kind video podcast where Sikh artists and storytellers come together.

Paint Night is a video podcast where I sit down with Sikh creatives to share stories, struggles, and the passions that keep us going.

The idea came from wanting to make space for art and conversation to exist together. While we talk, we create. Sometimes I’ll guide the drawing or painting, and sometimes my guest will teach me something from their own practice.

I want Paint Night to feel less like a podcast and more like sitting down with a friend. A gathering where art and conversation flow at the same time. A place where voices in our community can be heard, and where something meaningful is created together.

When do new episodes come out?
Right now I’m releasing episodes as they’re ready (no strict schedule yet, just whenever they feel right).

Where can I watch Paint Night?
Clips and highlights will be on Instagram (@lilskwetch). Longer episodes may be posted on YouTube too (TBD).

Are the conversations scripted?
Not really. Guests get a few guiding questions ahead of time, but the chats are pretty organic and flow like a real conversation.

Do I have to be an artist to enjoy Paint Night?
Nope:P The art is the backdrop, but the real focus is on the stories and journeys of Sikh creatives.

Can I follow along and paint/draw while watching?
Yes please! Think of it like a cozy paint-along where you’re also listening in on an honest conversation.

How long are episodes?
Highlights are usually a few minutes for Instagram. Full conversations can run anywhere from 30 minutes to over an hour.

Will you ever do Paint Night live?
That’s the dream. For now, it’s pre-recorded, but live sessions could happen in the future.

Why Sikh creatives specifically?
Because representation matters. This is a space centering Sikh voices, stories, and art which is something we don’t see often enough.
